Great Lakes Aged & Invalid Care Association Ltd

Great Lakes Aged & Invalid Care Association Ltd (GLAICA) is a not-for-profit organisation that provides an excellent standard of care and accommodation for the aged. We operate under the direction of a Board of seven (7) community members that has the stewardship for the management and operation of our facilities. GLAICA is registered under the Charitable Fundraising Act and is Public Benevolent Institution.

GLAICA is the only organisation in Forster Tuncurry that can cater for all the care and accommodation needs of the aged. Services provided include independent living units (leased or purchased), residential aged care and respite. We care for over 190 people every day in accommodation ranging from self care villages to hostel accommodation.
